Only minutes away on foot, you can stroll by fertile plains with olive groves and citrus trees, pay a visit to the close by WWII monuments, dedicated to those who fought and died bravely for a common cause, walk by the family house of the world famous music composer Mikis Theodorakis, soon to be purchased by the municipal authority since it is intended for a cultural center and be fascinated by “Psathi” site, on the Galata coast, where the remnants of an ancient Minoan settlement have been discovered, one of the very few met in Chania region.
For those who love driving, the easy access to A90 highway (part of E65 and E75 European routes) from our rooms, will offer plenty opportunities for daily fieldtrips around the entire Western part of Crete island and why not, further East.
